Unable to summon cooperator

Alright, so I have extreme skill issue and am trash at this game. But I can't summon anybody, I see several summon signs, but the game doesn't let me summon them. Sooo, does anybody know what's wrong?

Do you mean you click them and it says "unable to summon"? Someone else in the world just summoned them first.

What sort of build do you have?

I'm just using what I got(since I got real lazy when making the new character I'm using for this) sooo, bloodhound's fang +10, clawmark(for bloodflame), crimson amber medallion, winged sword insignia, two headed turtle talisman, and blade of mercy.

Well I mean I'm not usually this bad at the game, it's just been a while since I made this character then beat mohg to eventually access the dlc
