Just finished the final boss

Oh man.....that was something else.I am a player that never uses spirit ashes and player summon but i literally could not handle to play this boss for 1 thousand times to beat it solo....

It was very very hard even with mimic tear believe it or not, took me plenty of tries even with mimic.

Whoever wants to do that solo i wish you luck my friend , have patience :)

I really wanna see a really good player trying to no hit this final boss , for now it doesnt make sense in my head how is this possible but players always get better who knows we'll see.

Final thoughts, DLC was great , the art of the map was TOP tier, reminded me a lot of dark souls . Yeah i would like some places to have a bit more items but doesnt really matter , great dlc 9/10.

Not even the 2% of the total playerbase will kill that boss without cheating.
It was hard, more than 8H straight to kill him. Had to change build a couple of times as I was getting desperate, but finally got him. As with almost all bosses in this game, use bleed, was OP still OP.

i used 5 larvar tears out of desperation to change my build , tried bleed as well but tried shield and bleed weapon , wasnt working, should have tried duel wielding bleed . that would probably work in some hours of practice

I'm of the opinion the boss's second phase is completely inexcusable balance-wise and needs to be tweaked ASAP, but damn. It is nice to hear someone managed to get through it. Well done.

Got any suggestions? Its nearly impossible to read his attacks because the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ particle effects obscure what hes about to do next. And his...uh..."Cloak" hides you when you jump behind.

i think from soft is gonna nerf the bosses just a little bit , they are a little overtuned in my opinion , unless they just want their DLC to be remembered for how insanly hard it was

Yeah his second phase is insane , he just doesnt stop and the particles ARE SOO MANYYY hahaha.

I beat him with blasphemous blade , talismans that boost the damage of my L2 and damage negation and a really heavy armor(with the WINGED CRYSTAL TEAR) to light roll.

Using mimic tear as well and spamming L2 as often as i could while mimimizing damage taken .

That was my strategy

I beat this freak after being stonewalled for 20 hours against him yesterday.
First phase: Amazing, love the spectacle of the fight, the flow of his attacks, and dodging feels amazing.
Second phase: ...
I was stuck using rivers of blood with mimic tear. Finally beat him using it.

I beat him solo (because less HP = Less stress) with a plain mage build. Crazy hard.

Btw if you got your heart stolen twice you get an emote.

i think moving them slightly away from the entrances or making it to where the dont immediately use their charge forwards attacks as soon as you enter would be the main things they should tweak, would help for when someone wants to summon since a lot of times it ends up in free damage

phase 2 final tho... now thats a different story, got them down to 10% my best run before i got hit with an insane 3 hit light speed combo before my character could roll again after dodging one of his other insane AOE attacks
