Carian Regal Scepter vs. Lusat's Glintstone Staff, easiest to use?
Average to above average player, currently level 162, just started the DLC, looking to respec to a Sorcerer. I have never been a true full spell caster of any type in any game. I have both of these staffs. I have researched all the pros and cons, etc. of both but my question is: Is one easier to learn how to use effectively?

Depends on how fp efficient you want to be.

Lusat for bosses Carian for normal stuff. Bosses already give you so few openings that you want to be able to hit as hard as possible in them.

Not what you asked, but i recommend the jellyfish shield for anyone doing a caster build.

Yes, I understand how both work, I'm just talking about a beginner with no knowledge of staffs wondering is one or the other more difficult to learn how to use effectively? Maybe it doesn't apply and both are the same

it's overkill to use jellyfish shield now ever since its nerf in the latest patch

Yes, read Lusat was better for bosses. Perhaps my question is a dumb one....just wondering if the mechanics or whatever makes one more difficult to use then the other? I suspect not but really have zero experience using staffs, wands, or anything in that category

It was nerfed?

Carian Regal

The FP impact of Lusat is +50% for a bonus of 10% or so, I'd only ever use it if I had the unlimited FP flask equipped, if not it's not worth it even if some fights would draw out longer

Other than fp drain, there is no difference in how they are used.

I know. as I said, I have researched everything about both and know what each does and how they work. Perhaps my question isn't applicable or necessary, having zero experience with staffs, I wondered if the mechanics or whatever makes one just easier to learn how to use?
