Senessax is an extremely stupid boss fight and Bayle is even worse.

After many tries I managed to defeat Senessax (while using Mimic ash summon as well) by just constantly charging between his legs doing one or two hits and then getting some distance again to wait for his next attack to finish and then rinse and repeat.

Worst part with him is that he does these red lightning attacks that spread out randomly and even if one of the smaller shocks on the ground hit you (which you can't predict) it will cause over 50% damage. Oh and you can get hit twice rapidly in a row basically killing you almost instantly...

Also I think his flying charge attack is a one hit kill if I remember correctly. Isn't that fun?

Oh and it's just a copy of already existing main game dragon bosses but in a worse version...

2. Shoot
3. Run where rocks fall so he despawns

Using Mimic the DK went down on second try. He's also do-able solo in terms of mechanics. He's actually one of the more tame bosses in the DLC in my opinion.

I just used mimic because at this point I've just gotten sick of the boss design and want to somehow finish it.

He's electric boy. Try fighting him at the edge of the arena near the incline up the mountain a little where he's not standing in water. That way, when he lands the electric attacks the water doesn't enhance the damage and extend the AOE range making it far easier to dodge his attacks. If you stand in the water, the lightning attacks will arc making it way harder of a fight.

If you take a bow with bleed arrows, you can kite him (without resetting on rocks) fairly easy while on torrent. I struggled with this boss; until I realized he could be cheesed with range.

Simply use Torrent and the fight become awfully easy, it take a bit of time tho unless u use a bleed build. Doing that boss as a melee on foot is just self harming at this point. I don't think u are suposed to do it like this anyway, the arena is so big for a reason.

You may have missed the fact that all Ancient Dragons end in -sax in the main game too.

genuinely just hop on the horse, run in and poke him twice after every huge wind up attack he does then wait to do it again
unfortunately this might be one of two bosses in the dlc where they had torrent in mind as the solution
