FromSoft Please read and update game

I am very much enjoying the DLC content, but the the recently introduced performance problems are severly hindering my experience. Ever since the pre DLC update I now have massive FPS drops even in the base game where I never had FPS issues before. The real issue is that when the FPS drops, it doesn't rise back up even if I exit out to the main menu. It feels as though the game is somehow hardcapping the framerate at lower and lower levels. Sometimes restarting temporarily fixes this, but not always.
I love this game and your development team is among my favorite. Please try and fix these issues. Thank you.
