- Death was drifting(?) <--Gravebird armor, I assume was the concept of death has been strayed off from the normal meaning,
- People getting some ailments and metamorphoses into insects,
- Crucible's influence so big that everything grows horn.
- it was suggested that "proper burial" prevents such metamorphosis (ailing talisman), and the proper burial was a key aspect in the golden order.
my current theory is that Marika came from this land, sees what it has become --> ?? -> makes the lands between and removed death which has already corrupted? and establish the erdtree burial
