Is Rellana supposed to be the hardest boss?

I cant say I have had any trouble with any other boss here, or in the base game. Melania had a steep learning curve but that was it. This one however I cant get past. The moonlight gs type waves in phase 2 two shot me always, first phase got some attacks that you just cant dodge as she has two hits with her two swords. Im in ng+

There are at least 3 other bosses harder than her, but I won't spoil their names.

Yeah her second phase damage is INSANE. Just to try things out I was wearing non-physical damage negation talisman,best magic res armor I had and magic res incantation.
With 60 vigor + hp great rune she still could chop 1/2 to 2/3 of my hp with ONE attack.
My shadow blessing was 4 btw

Melania was hard, but at least she had a weakness - low poise and took a break in between attacks, can't say the same about any main boss in the DLC.

Haven't reach Messmer, but Rakshasa killed me more than all other bosses combined (including Rellana and the Hippo) and i still can't beat him.

Rellana's poise is nothing special either. One of the ways I've seen her being utterly destroyed is by a colossal weapon strength build.

If it takes a colossal weapon to flinch a boss that attacks constantly, that's a problem. You can make Melania flinch with a one handed sword.

Im using a colossal weapon, you cant stun her, but you can stagger her after hitting her like 20 times, for a mere 3% or so of her health.

First 2 rememberance bosses are cake. The rest are WAY harder.

Took me 1hour, and killed her the only time she didn't summon those 2 moons.
