Are the negative reviews legit?

I thought the DLC was phenomenal. Beyond expectations. But I’m seeing negative reviews because of petty stuff like “no DLSS support”, “Bosses do too much damage”, or “colors looked washed out”. The reddish hue is response to Messmer’s realm, like in movies to evoke a sense of dread. Bosses too hard? Well, did u expect the DLC to be easier. Plus, Elden Ring has a sensitivity setting, it’s called looking up cheese builds and farming. no DLSS or wide screen support, so why negative bomb it now?

How ungrateful and entitled can people be. Either Clown Reaction farming or fresh out of microtrasanction / P2W territory… or maybe actually bad because ur friend told you how good this game was.

The common rage baiters will be ignored as usual.

some of it legit for sure, i too have performance issue after downloading DLC, there also problem with steamdeck where you get banned. hopefully all be patched soon so we can know the real clown.

The Performance problems and No DLSS ones I get, and too a lesser degree no UW Support, as well.... those are "valid" reason the thumbs down the game....
It being hard...is kinda the point I thought...

The RT in this game is very heavy and still not having any upscaling support after 2 years is a bummer. Bosses do too much damage is what people always say, just means they don't want to learn dodging. The insane amount of heals you have when fully upgraded doesn't really leave From any other option. HDR has been broken off and on in this game since launch and I don't think there has even been a patch to address that. Every game has the ultrawide whiners, but not too many since only a couple % even have one.

Game is not hard it's just bland
I completed all unique bosses in less than 10hrs and took another 20 hrs to beat 35+ bosses
Most areas are lazy like this

But nah fromdrones gonna dckride elden all day and defend all criticism
I love fromsoft and bloodborne and ds1-3 dlcs are my favourite but you guys are no different from zelda fans

it would be nice if all the criticism was legit. performance problems are a reasonable complaint, but Fallout New Vegas was bugged to hell and back on release and it was one of the best games ever, once they fixed it, which they did ASAP

But giving out Negative Reviews because of lack of a feature that was never announced or planned is just stupid.
Dont have Performance problem with my budget 3050, so maybe all those poeple need to clean they're PC's (like litterly and storage).

If you price your DLC at 2/3 of the base game, it better be phenomenal and massive in scope indeed and this DLC is anything but. I've been playing for 2 days now and most of my playtime goes to riding around on horseback in the open world and collecting mushrooms. There is a serious lack of dungeons in this DLC relative to all the open world space it has which for me is just boring style over substance filler.

Two remembrance bosses and a catacombs in and I am loving it!

The bosses take a few tries but I haven't played since 4 months after launch. They were the right mix of difficult and fun. Plus those OSTs are just amazing. I had to spam run/roll during lion just so I could listen to it!

The open world feels a little bland, but the legacy dungeons so far make up for it.

As for performance, running a 3070 with 32gb ram on 1440p. Maybe noticed two stutters but 99% of the time I'm at a stable 60fps
