Dlc is absurdly difficult

Is it me or is this dlc absurdly difficult, I'm not new to the souls saga, I've completed every title since DS 1, but this seems absurd to me, I'm level 227 and progress is hell for me

Yeah. I solod every base game elden ring boss with melee only (the way i've played every other souls game to date) but this dlc was the first time I cracked. Had to bust out rivers of blood on top of mimic tear for the final boss.

Weapons are nerfed. But its OK. Only thing is sometimes bosses can one hit you.

idk seems fine to me, in the larger picture this needs to be an endgame ng+ area for people that are really high level and ng cycles

Need the items to boost your damage and reduction. Or you can wait for the post launch nerf like they did with Radahn to help people.
