Fire basket giants?

I'm doing quite literally zero damage along with my mimic tear, is there a certain weapon I'm supposed to use or something?

Keep hitting the legs. Eventually you will knock him over and can hit him with a crit. It'll do massive damage, for me about 50K. Two of those and it is dead.

Go fine some Sardu blessing things, and come back later.

You need Blessings to do real damage in the DLC. I'm not even going to attempt those bastards till I have several. Look for Miquella's Footprints (the cross Great Rune looking things). There are others throughout the land, but those are easy to spot.
