Inputs not registering

Sometimes inputs (namely pressing forward on the left stick) don't work at all, sometimes they work partially, sometimes perfectly. Is there any way to fix this? I've had these kinds of problems since the launch of the base game. Also, it works better on linux than windows 10 for some reason despite the fact that I'm using an xbox controller, made by microsoft... (on win10 its less responsive and makes my bluetooth headphones cut out).

I had to unplug other peripherals to get my controller working properly, otherwise had same half-responsive controls while stuck walking in a single direction

Tried that but no dice :(
Just died right now cause I tried to jump onto something but backstepped instead.

I would say try updating your Bluetooth drivers, but seeing as it's happening on Linux as well (different drivers), It may be your computer's Bluetooth hardware itself. And yeah, I ditched Win10 for Linux a while ago, and everything does run much better. Screw Micro$oft!

I'll see if it happens with the cable plugged in, and if that fails with keyboard (it was happening with cable on win10). Real pity cause I was enjoying using my controller wireless for a change lol.

Yeah this only works on keyboard, but idk if I want to play like this lol I might just uninstall. It works fine under "begin test" in steam settings, so I can only see this as being a game-side problem (I tried disabling steam input too but it doesn't help).

The same issue is happening for me. A few of my inputs just don't seem to register. More than once I have tried to use my flask on a neutral stance only for my character to stand there and do nothing. I started playing the base game a few months ago and this was never an issue in the base game. It only happens in a few areas, usually where a lot of particle effects are going on. The Lion boss in particular is where I notice this happening a lot.
