What does the two handed sword talisman even do.
doesnt seem to do anything. Must be bugged lol.

EDIT:
After some testing it seems to increase damage by 15% unlisted on the status screen and doesnt matter what weapon it is as long as your two handing so twin blades should work and just not paired weapons.

also the only ashes of war it boosts damage for is roars that alters heavy attack like braggarts roar, war cry, barbaric roar etc. it also does not work with stances.

I was even wondering if it worked with trolls roar and i can confirm it does.

Basicly if you always wanted a talisman that will increase damage while two handing and roars that alter heavy attacks you just got one.

What weapons are you using it with?
I haven't gotten it yet, but I would assume it only works on Greatswords, Great Hammers, Curved Greatswords, and Scythes. Maybe Polearms, Halbreds, and Heavy Thrusting swords

I think it works with all weapons being two handed but i have yet to test that out. It actualy does work and the damage buff is unlisted on the status screen.

The new DLC has new weapon classes that are twin swords or twin axes, they take 1 slot of equipment for both weapons and each has it's own stance, the talisman is for those not for regular random dual wield

Much similar to DS3 dual wield weapons that count as 1

i just testedit out and it seems to be about a 15% damage increase and the weapon does not matter as long as you are two handing it. i havent tested it on dual weild weapons yet though but i have a hunch it doesnt work.

i just tested it out with martial arts and i can confirm it does not work. Dual weild weapons do not work even if they come in pairs.

Probably it's just for Rellana dual swords then since their ash of war keep you in a stance before you choose your attack. But I notice a big difference in damage while wearing the talisman with them

that seems really odd because the great katanas stance ash of war did not work. Are you sure you arent using the stance talisman too and getting the buff from that because stances shouldnt work nor should paired weapons.

Yeah I was checking just with this talisman to be sure, works fine with them. Hopefully they'll patch to work with other combos

That seems to be the exception then. kinda weird it doesnt work with great katanas overhand stance since you are technicly 2 handing. I also tested it with stamp ashes of war too and it didnt work. it also didnt work with spinning slash.

all these animations are 2 handed swings by the way too.

Would twohanded sword tailsman work with giant crusher lions claw ash cuz when you do the lions claw animation it's a two handed attack curious if it'd bost the lions claw ash attack by 15% or not?

it only increases the damage of roars that alter heavy attacks sadly.

You mean the Roar Medallion?

lol no. The roar medallion doesnt even increase the damage of roars that alter heavy attacks and just the roars that are ranged attacks. The two handed sword talisman increases all damage of your 2 handed attacks and the reason why it works with barbaric roar for instance i think is because its just altering the heavy attack.

This is why it doesnt work with anything except roars because the heavy attack is just being altered.

basicly the gist of it is it increases all two handed attack damage including the heavy attacks altered by roars.

when i tested the roar medallion i didnt see any improvement in damage but maybe it was bugged.

if it increases damage of heavy attack altering roars that would be a 30% damage increase from stacking and the axe talisman would make it 40%

ill have to test it out tommorrow.
