just finished reinstalling the game with the dlc and its not working. not sure what to do.

deleting "dinput8" helped me. its in % appdata % in the save files

dinput8.dll is a modified file used by many mods to inject their modified code into Elden Ring's executable. If you haven't ever installed a mod that uses this file, it won't exist in Elden Ring's folder. If you get the same error code, then it may be a different file used to inject the mod data, or one of the legitimate .dll files is corrupted.
