ELDEN RING

ELDEN RING

Zobrazit statistiky:
These bosses aren't very intuitive or fun for a first playthrough.
If gino machino spent 2 hours on the dancing lion boss and couldn't even come close to figuring out a consistent no hit strat then there is a problem. No casual player is going to ever come close to working out any of these movesets and clearly neither can the top players either.

The whole first run of the DLC is going to just be damage trading for 99.9% of the community. Maybe there are some remembrance bosses that break the mold but I think from have forgotten what made DS3's DLC bosses so peak.

The damage is too high to reward any attempts to find new openings openings or cool strafes like with alot of the any% bosses, and alot of these moves are never going to be worked out. There is a 0% chance that any of the reviewers actually understood the majority of the boss mechanics on a first playthrough lol.

Seemingly the poise break system has been completely forgotten about on alot of these bosses with their movesets being too fast to punish with CR2's or even jumping R2's in some cases. Like ofc it's still very easy to farm stuns but not while taking considerable damage when winding up R2's.

Feel free to disagree, :)

"artificial difficulty" doesn't exist, the DLC is very very hard, drop the scrub mentality
arcade games from the 80's and 90's would like to have a word with you

they literally had dipswitches on the board to artificially make the games more difficult so people would spend more money.
About to finish the content.
The arguments a less then poor.
You just sound like you suck at the game.
Git Gud Scrub!
>If gino machino spent 2 hours on the dancing lion boss and couldn't even come close to figuring out a consistent no hit strat then there is a problem

don't know who gino machino is, but i did him first try

the ally they give you is a tank. attack from range. problem solved...
Yes. It's stupid.

There’s a huge difference between figuring out a boss and killing it lol

does that explain why you don't intuit "attack from range" when you have a tank handed to you and the boss does AOE around itself?

that seems pretty intuitive to me, but i don't have lyme disease

lion took me 30 minutes and im just a regular dude with "only" a few playthroughs under my belt. hardly a herculean challenge. if youre casual get a sh!tload of scurdtree tokens, summons adn then try him. literally like any of the other hard, endgame bosses in the game.

If any Elden Ring main boss or DLC main boss takes you only 30mins, you are definitely not a "normal dude". Most FromSoft niche gamers are considered hardcore gamers by playstyle and preference.

"normal dudes" often only have very little time to play at all, and are quickly discouraged by having to constantly repeat a boss to try and get a little further than last time.

I really like this DLC overall, even more than the original game, art- , graphic and level design wise. There are also way less copy&paste bosses this time around.

But yeah, the boss design has not really improved.
The only good bosses, which feel hard and fair at the same time, are Rellana and Midra.
Every other boss is either way too easy, has camera issues, or just nonstop spams 10 hit combos without leaving you many attack windows.

Their boss design peaked at DS3 and Sekiro and went downhill afterwards, in my opinion.

dude seriously try and no hit rellana with a lower damage setup. If you do it in under 50 attempts then that's a worlds first.

Literally Who? not even joking
'no intuition required ever, it's all 100% pattern recognition'.

What a load of horse dung, lol.
Finally, the "git gud" gutter trolls git the game they deserve!
FROM SOFTWARE GOT GUD, LOLOLOL
My man, the last boss was really disappointing. No one liked the outcome. What were FromSoftware thinking???
