Nah but not like beating the boss because anyone can beat him lol. I meant understanding the bosses mechanics / moveset to some degree.
I didn't say it was difficult, I said it was using artificial difficult especially in schollar where they made every room a gank fest lol.
well that's what i mean, this phase of the game is well beyond the point where you can just panic roll to victory every boss, this dlc slots into about the haligtree/cfa in terms of general difficulty. and for a casual as i mentioned you can always brute force it with co-op and the dlc stat buffs
in fact tbh i found the lion to telegraph everything pretty well. if he's gonna bite you, he's snapping his jaws. if he's gonna ice stomp, he raises his foot. if he's gonna breathe, he stands upright, and if he's gonna combo you there's a little sound cue that sounds like a guard counter. i used colossal gs and was finding plenty of openings with him and the hippo too a little in another direction of the zone.
it's not really ludicrous or crazy, certainly not enough to ward off a casual. everyone learns at different paces and have their strengths but my friend group were all past lion within 2 hours, so not rly sure what was happening with the guy you reference. i believe he made it look harder than it really was
No I literally did smh... I ofc know he could've killed him but he clearly wanted to try and learn his moveset better which he could not do. Re read.
bruh I stg I mention DS2 and everyone comes running like the road runner lol, Forgot how passionate ppl were about it,
Never mentioning DS2 again omg
I can read it's attacks, both it's air and ice anyways, the lighting is just too random to read as you never know where the lightning is going to appear on the ground. The problem again is that i can't see what the boss is doing half the time because of the camera and because of there being so many on screen effects that it completely obscures your vision.
Probably the most annoying part of the boss however, other than it causing stutters, is that it attacks way too damn much, which again seems to be a common issue with many of the bosses in this DLC, they give you little to no openings. The openings on this boss are so small that sometimes he starts attacking again after finishing his combo before I even recover from my light attack.
This isn't a matter of getting good, it's a matter of piss poor design. I don't know how many times my camera got sucked inside him when he went go go gadget extendo.
Have u done him hitless yet? If ur calling the best player in the world a casual then good luck in life and bye
