Blackgaol Knight Cheese

[Cheesy Gordita Crunch]

For those struggling with this boss, there's a couple ways to cheese him, let me break it down for you. This is for my Strength/Faith builders out there, gotta represent.


Tactic 1:
The Knight can be popped up by the AoW: Giant's Hunt, slap it on a weapon like the Greatsword and just pop that armored a**hole to your heart's content.


Tactic 2:
The Knight is susceptible to Madness Incantations ( May Chaos Take the World!) and weapons such as Vyke's War Spear can also be used on him. Use a shield that has 100% damage negation (I also recommend you put the AoW: Barricade Shield on it too) and the spear and just poke the s*** outta him till he procs Madness, use this as an opportunity to heal if necessary.

Tactic 3:
Since Taker's Flame got nerfed in the V1.12 patch of this fine game, knocking down the Knight is now impossible, HOWEVER, if you use the Sacred Relic's Sword's Wave of Gold ability, the Knight will get knocked on his candy a** every single time. Use the Shard of Alexander, Carian Filigreed Crest, and Sacred Scorpion Charm for maximum potency, just don't let him hit you.

I largely used hit and run tactics with my dagger.

This guy has a lot of poise and dmg to risk trading.

I just parried him to death man. There's not much to his fight. He telegraphs most of his attacks like, a year in advance.

Either parry, or just spam Lion's Claw/Giant Hunt with a big weapon if you're bad, not much else to it.

I just cried the whole time and frantically R1 spammed hoping it'd finally die

Used my dark moon gs. Nope, no talismans, no magic shots or whatsoever. Just bonk after bonk after bonk ... Jesus, whats wrong with the bosses here, 2 shot you while you need some good 5 minutes to kill it.
