Tips for Senessax?

I legit dont know what else I can be doing, I'm wearing partial bull goat (cant wear full without heavy load) +2 boltdrake talisman, Morgott's rune for more hp, 60 vigor and half the time I get 2 shot. I've already activated like 5 fragments and I'm just not doing much dmg with my hammer and the boss just spams aoe with every attack giving so little room to punish. Is it weak to something specific I could use? Im trying dragonwound grease but it wears off and im running low.

Yeah, I'd *love* some advice myself. I've tried kiting him to the dry spit of uphill he won't despawn near, but his damage output is still insane. I'm genuinely wondering if this is supposed to be one of the last areas we stop by, considering I ran into a trinket that talked about how the dragon at the top apparently wrestled with Placidusax. Might just be a challenge-y area.

use the dragon hunters great katana its a very good answer to any dragon you find

the dragon greatsword you get from ancient dragon warrior on +9 deals good damage with the special attack. 3k per hit (if i hit the head) which is around 5% of his hp bar
I, for my part, still suck on evading his lightning attacks (even with light roll).
time to get good i guess xD

I ended up beating him by using Torrent. Ride in, hit a couple of times, ride out of range of attacks. It's very slow but works

id honestly forgotten about the dragon greatsword, i'll check it out as rn im using the big hammer u get at the start from the knight at the first church

i assume u mean the great katana? gonna be annoying i'll have to respec to use it but its worth it to beat the boss

so follow up, i did beat him by just respeccing for dragon hunter and kiting him around the arena from the front, using the AoW 1-2 times then running in circles. Wasn't the most exciting boss fight but it worked

This worked great thanks. Im doing a all strength build and it was not going well. This strat worked on the 3rd try

I got stuck on him as well, crumpled and resorted to finding a small rock you can sit on up the hill to the left of his room and just cheesed him with poison and a bow.

Thanks to the random 4 people with messages on the rock lol.

If it is still relevant, then here is my advice: an ant rapier enchanted by the icy mist. This way you will accumulate frost and red rot. Frost will cause damage and slow down the enemy, red rot will cause percentage damage. I tried to knock the dragon out of balance with the hammer of the giant killer and failed. I think that says why I switched to statuses. I play NG+5. Have a nice game for you too.

I had a relatively easy time keeping my distance and spamming the Siluria's Tree WA. I'm not sure of his resistances, but Holy seemed reasonably effective.

haha i did the same thing! driveby hit and then disengage repeat.
