surprisingly good at 30/30/30/30
currently running bleed with eleonora's poleblade and some swarm of flies. definitely fun and some good cheese, but also wanting to try out some DLC weapons
it's worth, at least imo. Not too impressed with her twin moon spells though.
Well not every SINGLE stat, but most of them helps, the character i use it on has very low str compared to the other stats, but it still gets high damage from the other 3
I settled with the ancient meteoric ore greatsword .. I needed a change since eleonora got boring fast, especially since in the dlc only the l2 is useful. The greatsword hits like truck-kun. The AoW also is incredible. Using starfist if I need something faster.
kinda weird it has a straight sword animation for the l1
i respec'd for this weapon, want to play around a bit, but i'm already missing my bleed and swarm of flies arc/dex build. too much fun.
As in skills do less damage and poise damage, slower, for more FP and with worse range. Also slightly slower. As do basic attacks.
And there's no stagger on heavy or jump attacks on knights and above. Which ultimately defeats the purpose of the flowing moveset since you'll need to roll away.
Maybe it's a weapon meant for lvl 300 or something.
Weapon art is very flashy, but ultimately not that practical. The R1 art again lacks poise damage, so against anything other than trash it's going to get you splattered. The R2 art is considerably more practical because it does do a lot of poise damage (and so do the flames it spawns), one of the very few ways this weapon can be viable against knight enemies is to stunlock them to death with this, the lingering flames hold them down long enough to hit them again.
I respecced to use this weapon (level ~200, stats approx 20/20/50/50), after using it for a while I think I'm going to respec back out of it. Interesting weapon, flashy weapon, not a very practical one.
