Washed out HDR?
I've noticed that when I launch the game and I get to the main title screen the colors look washed out. When I hit enter the colors on the screen briefly appear as they should. The Elden Ring logo briefly appears color accurate and then immediately reverts back to a washed out appearance.

I noticed this happened with my old monitor, but after a restart the HDR would appear correctly, but now the HDR appears washed out. It doesn't look as bad as it did on my old monitor but it's driving me nuts because I know the image on the screen is not how it should be displayed. No problems with any other game.

I've tried the fixes I've seen online, such as Alt+Tabbing in and out of the game, and restarting drivers, but nothing seems to correct the issue. Running on Windows 11, HDR is on and calibrated.

Yet still, when I hit the splash screen and hit enter, the color appears correct for a brief moment before reverting to a more washed out appearance. If anyone has a solution to this I'm all ears.

If anyone else is having an issue where your HDR for this game (or Armored Core/Sekiro) has really faded colours and you don't want to restart PC/update your drivers every time to fix it-- try just rebooting your monitor. The easiest way for me to do it is running restart64.exe from Custom Resolution Utility (CRU).

This has been working for me every time I've tried since realizing I've also done this to fix gsync/freesync when it's being stubborn.
