Revered Spirit Ash gone from my inventory?

So I picked up my first Revered Spirit Ash close to the entrance of the Shadow realm, only to realize I had forgotten to activate my Radahn great rune at the tower in Caelid, I port out of the Shadow realm to go and activate it at the tower. I then port back to the Shadow realm and now my Revered Spirit Ash is gone from my inventory (bolstering materials)? I wanted to activate it at the Site of Grace when I returned, but it just went poof and is now gone for good! What is going on?

There ARE inventory limitations.
Check your chest at a grace.

Checked my chest, nothing there either. The item is gone for good, major bug I suppose. I picked up some Scadutree fragments too just now, and I used 1 out of 2 to upgrade immediately without leaving the realm

I'm so sorry. I've had issues. Right when I started, I wasn't receiving ANYTHING. the scaduttee blessings, armor, mushrooms, weapons, nothing. I double checked everywhere. I ended up restoring my save right before the DLC, turned the menu for new items on, and new item markers. Then I avoided everything but mushrooms. After confirming I did in fact receive the crafting materials, I went for the good stuff. THEN, I received a talisman ( maybe ) and noticed a blue chest icon. THAT went straight to the chest because my inventory was full. I have not had a problem since that first time. Back up your save often. I wish you the best.

Yes, seems the DLC has introduced some new issues/bugs to the game unfortunately, same with performance tanking. I wish you good luck on your adventures as well, fellow Tarnished!
