Locked Air Funnels?

So maybe I missed a tip or hint about them but I've noticed some air funnels I can't travel up but they have some rocks in the middle, anyone know how to activate them?

buy the note on sealed spiritsprings from a vendor

you have to find same rocks somewhere close around and hit them with anything, that breaks the pile and activates the air spring

As for the in game hint, There is note a vendor sales about them.
