dlc brutal lol

im lvl 173 , this is bruuuuuutal lol but i like it i only have one question , what build is doing good, i have most weapons and talismans from pre dlc and a few new ones from the dlc , right now im full faith build but it is a very slow attack style as im using blasphemous so i think thats why im having a rough time

I'm using a 99 arcane build, was using the halberd with S scaling. Dropped a DLC S scaling arcane colossal weapon, my dps tripled. I think From wants people to use DLC weapons

Playing a quality build(I figured going str/dex would allow me to use most new weapons) and I'm clapping hard.
60dex 60 str, 60 vig 40 end, I'm lvl 170 or something. Playing on Ng+, so I literally have all the decent gear.
I'm using the new knight npc boss's great sword, armor set and I also found these reverse grip swords so I'm switching between those. Def very powerful stuff. I think they'll have to rework soem of the old stuff from the base game because the new stuff from the DLC make everything else feel redundant.

I'm faith as well with dual GS. I'm doing okay so far. Enemies can deal quite some damage but the also take a lot. So far it's okay but i guess it depends on where you go.

Strength build with roar club or endure meat cleaver to name a few examples completely destroy the dlc.

ive not made it that far into the game i literally just beat divine after 70 tries lol, ive not found any good DLC weapons yet

It might be the Greatsword, which is an ultra.

TBF, 99 arcane isn't that great. It's just a dump slot carried away. Maybe re-roll a bit and focus on some survivability?

I'm not finding it to bad and just took out the Lion boss with Mimic bro first go - the one you see in the trailers. Did have to use summon help to take out the Knight in the Gaol.

Currently using maxed out Bronze Shield, Bloodhound Fang and Claw Mark Seal and using Scaled armour for head and torso but the chunky black knight stuff for legs and arms.

Currently at Lvl 168 - I didn't go to NG+ after killing Elden Beast

Stop lying, STR construction continues to be the worst for DLC, lots of risk, little reward.
