Tankier builds will probably die in 2-3 hits.
Most bosses I've fought have around ~20k-25k HP or so, so ultimately it depends on how little fun you want to have.
Don't fret too much for it, I'm sure someone will beat it at RL1 eventually,
in short, I suggest the 128 and level up as you go.
Shadow of the Erdtree doesn't scale with your level directly, but instead uses a new leveling system to recreate the feeling of progression the base game had.
The only catch is that your Scadutree Blessing and Revered Spirit Ash Blessing level disappear when you're anywhere outside of the DLC area. Your stats will be highlighted in orange to show that they're enabled and will go back to white when they're not. I imagine this allows FromSoft to more easily balance the difficulty of the DLC areas without trivializing the base game.
All those do is give you a small, flat addition to your damage and negation. Levels (both RL and weapon level) are still more important.
Thanks for the information. Do you know how does new game plus affects the difficulty in the DLC? Does it still scales same way as base game?
It seems everything is based off those shards you get
And that is with the dragon great shield talisman….
I’m level 163, btw
