[Solution] Invisible Face Glitch - Update 1.12

I just installed the update and, upon getting into my save, I noticed that the top half of my character's face was missing. I have no idea what the possible reason could be, but is this happening to anyone else? It's like the top half of my character's face is just invisible and see through.

I took off all my armor, tried to recreate my character, changed my preset, and I even started a new game to see if it was still invisible, and it was.
Really bizarre

I'm sure it's just a glitch that will get patched once the DLC is released.

I have this issue to! Do u have any mods installed?

If u have Texture Improvement mod installed, don't use the characters - npc files. I removed them and it fixed it

Yes, all my toons are invisible now. I tried veryfying the files, but it didn´t change anything.

Thanks, I don't believe I have any texture improvement mods installed, at least not for player models, but I'll see if I can figure out what's causing the issue on my end.

I also have the issue. When I go to Fias Bedroom and enter the mirror to change my appearance, my character looks normal again - weird. When I get back out again, it looks normal too but 2 seconds later the invisible face appears again.


Do you guys have the flame of frenzy eyes? maybe that's the issue, I don't know.

camera reset fix
"flawless widescreen program"

Try and remove all your mods. Updates often brakes them

SOLUTION:

I disabled all mods at once and then re-enabled one at the time to troubleshot and I noticed that everything works fine now. Once I disabled all mods, started the game on online mode I went to Fias mirror and noticed the new hairstyles. These were not avilable before, probably due to me playing in offline mode

Apparently it has to varify gamefiles once because when I went back to offline mode after that, everything worked fine (with all mods enabled)

Getting this same issue. Deleted all mods, verified files and still ran into it after that. No idea what’s causing it. It’s also happening on my Steam Deck, which never had mods in the first place, so I have no clue what’s causing it lol.

I don't have the Flame of Frenzied eyes, although I do have the Blood Lust eyes you get for completing Varre's quest-line.
I'm certain that the special eyes are not the issue, though, because I started a new game and created a new character and the issue still persists.

I also removed literally every mod I had and verified all my files and still have the invisible face. Very bizarre.
It must be due to the new update.
This will probably be patched sometime in the next few days, I hope...

I literally just disabled all mods, switched my game to online mode to let it verify the patch and then everything was fine

It didn't work for me personally.

I uninstalled any mods I had, then verified the game files, uninstalled the DLC and verified the files again, then reinstalled it, tried to launch the game in online mode, but it wouldn't let me play online because it's still say "Inappropriate Activity Detected," despite having no mods and validating the files.

All I can think to do now is wait for a patch.
The issue is that this isn't the only glitch I have right now.
I have another glitch that's preventing me from starting the DLC entirely where Leda (the needle knight) is just a gray body laying one the floor in the place to begin the DLC and I'm not able to talk with her or interact with Miquella's hand.
