Steam Deck - Can't play online? - URGENT

Steam Deck OLED user here - everything was fine yesterday but after the patch I can't play online due to some "inappropriate behaviour detected" prompt? Anybody knows if this is a bug or server side issue? I verified my files a couple of times. Gonna check on my desktop later too.

*UPDATE: It works fine on my desktop so it's prolly the issue comments below are describing. From Software needs to fix this...*

Same here but only in steam deck. I can play in my PC (windows 11).

EAC has a setting (on the dev side) to allow or disallow running under Proton/Wine (read: on Linux). Today’s patch apparently flipped that off. Intentionally? IDK, ask Fromsoft.

You can’t do anything about it. They will either fix it or they won’t.

if you're ok playing offline, then sure, it shouldn't be a problem

The hot fix doesn’t mention anything about a flag though. It’s about being kicked for inactivity. I’m unable to use online right from the start of the title screen. So who knows if this will address the problem. It’s been months too.
