They nerfed my beautiful bubble shower. Granted, it was absolutely broken... but that's exactly what made it so fun. Melting gigantic dragons with a "PWAAAAP".

I think it's really good patch overall. Even if they nerfed me a little since I dual wield great hammers, but it's not biggie. I'm certain I can find a better great hammer in the DLC anyway to make up for the nerf. Maybe not one that heals me, but it's whatever.

Make that toot extra sad. Yesterday I was messing with the trolls on mountaintop of the giants. Two bubble showers were enough to break their guard. I just tested it against them, it now takes five bubble showers to break their guards. Which mean they cut the poise damage by more than half.

Just like flame of the redmane, I'm not quite fond of such a hard nerf. I'm okay with the bubble shower being nerfed (because, once again, it was absolutely broken), but now it's become near useless.

A little conflicted about elden beast torrent, of course, its so good because elden beast keeps running away... but the real answer to the problem is NOT horse! Its make elden limit its running away.


What is the point of elden beast's "elden stars" spell, it will never catch torrent, its not a threat anymore. Its even easier to dodge the tracking rain of beams spell. Sure, before torrent you just brain dead run, but if you didnt conserve stamina, some of those will catch you.

Elden beast's attacks arent designed to match somthing as fast as torrent, they will just whiff all day. They should have changed Elden's AI if you ride torrent, which would be Superb! Give it new moves.

See, the problem with what you just said is that the boss fight is designed with constant disadvantage to the player.
Malenia easily deleted half of your HP with no efforts.
Dodge timing on Waterfowl is absurd, then if you get hit you're basically guaranteed to die. In fact this is the only way she can ever kill me.
And she heals on hit, even if you block 100% of her damage with a shield.

To counter this, you can knock her down. But now they remove one of the best options to balance things out for the player.

This is absolutely not necessary. Especially not after 2 whole years.
