It is annoying that the button prompts don't change to match if you're using a PS5 controller. I'm using a PS5 Victrix Pro. Luckily I just know what the A,B,X,Y, PS5 alternatives are so it's just annoying lol.

why would you use psn controller? get an xbox controller or g7, better promots, better touch, better quality, better compatibility with games and windows. anything other than sony controllers are good.

You know, pretty sure they made a conscious decision here, because there is no way it's "an oversight", especially after all this time and multiple reports.

You don't know what possible deals or contract obligations might exist - Griftstation could demand money for usage of their symbols (suddenly, after graciously allowing for other From games)?
Micropeen might demand not to include PS symbols in a "It's her or me" kind of deal?

That's just two things that come to mind and I have literally zero insight or even the slightest idea if that's even a thing, buy corporations like that can be really stupid about such tings.

My point is, I'm pretty sure they would have implemented them long ago if they wanted to, and I think it's fair to say that whatever the reason, they just don't want to.

i own a playstation and a pc, im not going out of my way to buy a xbox controller as well. plus all the xbox controllers i had broke in under a month of normal use

Don't worry, after a few hours of gameplay, even you're going to be able to remember the controls. Imagine, my controller matches the on-screen prompts, I still never read them.

how my xbox one controller still hold with me since 2018 droped many times played all souls games and elden ring wonderfully. hmmm. xbox one controller is for 40$ on amazon, invest in that instead of wasting your money on remake and remaster on that console

The location of the d-pad on the xbox controller sucks ass. Always did. You can't use it while still moving your character. Unless you are using your right hand ( which now limits your whole ability to perform most of the other actions ), or unless you are using your index finger on your left-stick, which is even weirder. PS controllers let you move, use d-pad and all the right side at the same time. More flexibility..
But other than that, I agree that the xbox controller feels higher quality in build and materials..

I don't think that's true at all. Im using a kingkong pro which is basically an xbox controller. I can move and use the quick menu with no issues at all, but when I do that on a PS controller at my friend's I can't do that. It might be possible if my friend changed his layout but it's just annoying.

for me, psn controllers makes me feel my hands are cuffed, it hurts hands, very limit of space my hands are hella close, also i love xbox d-pad location it's literally under my left hand i can quickly reach to it and all buttons are in one circle i can quickly change left or right etc.... psn controllers you need to pull your left hand, and think quickly left or right button. xbox controller feels premium from touch to design to quality. ps5 espically controller is no for me.
