If you really want to have a full grasp on the story without youtube, you need to piece it together yourself by reading a lot of different item descriptions, lore snippets, dialogue from npcs and phantoms.
Without looking at YouTube?
Play the game, read everything, use your brain to piece together the dots.
if you can't do that, you are probably not familiar with this style of narrative. Not much you can do about that apart from exposing yourself to it more, and in a few years it will click.
or just go watch youtube videos under "elden ring lore explained"
