Nope, because you were foolish enough to pay for a game in the 21st century. You can't do what you want to with the products you buy anymore.

I think you can turn off cloud saving and backup your save file manually, then just swap save files whenever you want. I’m not sure though because i never did it, but it should work.

Not exactly. You can copy your entire save though, and revert to it at will. It's very easy and there are a ton of guides out there. Just search for Elden Ring manual saves.

This you can do. Manual saves are easy to do.

Not easily. I mean, it's possible, but you'd have to do much more intensive save editing instead of just copying and pasting a couple of files.

This! It is indeed possible, to extract a character from one save file and inject it into another save files character slot. But if you don't know what you are doing, you have a high risk of catching a ban. So, I advise against it and won't provide details to how it is done. Even though I did it myself and never had any problems.
So it is manual backup of your save file for you and reverting to what you want to play.

Well, you could save the original 150 character, then continue playing and respec the character and do what you want. Then when you want to play the original character you save the new character, changing the file name of course, and re-load the original.

You can't actually have them in different save slots unless you had saves from every character you have played, which I do, so in theory I could do that.

Yes, you absolutely can do that, using EldenRingSaveCopier tool. You can copy your character in different save files or different slots, anything you want.

I can't speak for that tool, I haven't heard of it before. But just so you're aware, a ban will just force you to play in offline mode, it doesn't stop you from playing the game entirely. You just miss out on co-op/PvP/messages.

You absolutely won't get banned for cloning characters in the same savefile or even editing item stacks your inventory (even tho the tool author is recommending against it but he probably means adding items) - as long as you don't give yourself invalid items (too high stack sizes might trigger detection too, so keep inside the limits) or stats and then go online with them!

Another tool able to do that is Elden Ring Save Manager on Nexusmods, it's a bit unwieldy UI-wise but for those two things (along with a few other features) it works fine.
