DLC drops in 12 hours?

Not sure what you are referencing, but as far as CST in America it should be a little less than 12 ish hours now for me.

Confused about this as well, time to release was supposed to be 6 pm tomorrow, but steam says 11 hours from now

Yep, it's kinda confusing because some people are asking why it says only 11 hours from now on the steam page but the chart they put up says 6 pm est for the US.

Some people are saying the steam countdown is just for when you can actually be able to download it (that's why it says countdown to UNLOCK and not PLAY) and wait to actually play it at 6pm est.

Stop spreading lies. The game gets released for everyone at the same time, for PC at least. Steam time might be incorrect, but we will have to see.

maybe they initially set up generous deadline for themselves, but realized they were able to push it back a bit.
also they might just make a mistake in the announce poster, because who honestly knows all timezones? EST EDT EET and so on. in the best case people know UTC offset from their nlocal timezones and that's it

I just looked at the map they put out since I hadn't looked at that yet, and yeah it is a tad weird they list PC as later than the console, yet steam seems to have the console release time.
That could be an error on steams part and we are getting it in the evening, which would kinda suck since it's my day off. Hope the steam page is accurate.

yeah and for many countries release time is far after mignight, if it is global release in americam EST 6PM. if you release it after midnight, you might as well postpone it to the next evening, because people need to sleep and work

Well in my time zone I'm usually up till roughly 3am most days and don't get up till 10 or 11 am. Kinda let the morning breeze on by.

Never seen that. Preloads are usually just given to people, no timer. I have seen Steam screw up the release timer before, so who knows.
