If you just wanna get out and do it later, you can teleport. You need to progress through the area and beat the boss if you wanna progress through the game

It's close to the end game but it's a great area to explore.

I progressed through the area. cannot find anything else. Only thing I have not done is the fight on that floating platform. Is that him.

The boss of that area is the first of a ~5 part boss rush that goes all the way to the true final boss of the game. So basically FA is the last major area to clear besides optional ones like the snowfield, Mohg's palace and the Haligtree.

The floating platform is an optional boss, Dragonlord Placidusax. The area boss is found past a large bridge guarded by a Malformed Dragon Sentinel. The path through the area branches at one point, so you may have looped back around at one point and missed the other path.

the beauty of this game, shut up and explore... exploration is well reward in every fromsoft games... literally opposite any ubisoft games. ubisoft games only fill with tons of homework go here and go there, places cleared... then go another station do the same.. lol boring
