Farmed Partizan for hours and it's worse than Great Epee

Well I am comparing them because obviously both are trusting weapons ideal for a shield trusting and guard counter build, I mean I thought it was obvious and I am probably are is just that you people obviously want to fight for some reason.

The Partisan is a Spear, has lower AR, it's faster, has longer reach and and has lower requirements, uses less stamina per attack and can do both thrust and slash damage.

The Great Epee is a Heavy Thrusting Sword, it's slower, has higher scaling, shorter reach, has higher requirements, uses more stamina per attack and can only do thrusting damage.

In addition to this, Partisan has access to more ashes of war than the great Epee

Apples and oranges.

This is more or less what I wanted to hear or read to see if there was something better to the Partizan or it was just outright worse.

You may be wrong that the Epee only does trusting damage because I think the heavy attack is a slash.
