that the community has unofficially agreed to promote as the 'stopping-point' of rune-levels.
It's completely meaningless, but the intended purpose is to create a general level-range where multiplayer aspects will produce shorter queue-times.
... All of that other stuff, is because some bonglord has beaten everything in the game with a starting equipment wretch and no additional upgrades.
So now if you play anything other than a sl-1 run, it's considered nooby.
This applies if you're interested in multiplayer since most active
player pool is around levels 120, 150 with max weapons.
If you don't care about multiplayer be whatever level
and any weapon upgrade level you want.
Butting heads with bigot morons and unfunny LGBTQ bait trolls?
Well buckle in, we have those here too.
I seriously wish FromSoft would remaster all the King's Field and Shadow Tower games and give us the real KF1 and Shadow Tower 2 for the first time.
As long as you're not using exploits or 3rd party tools to cheat then whatever you do to beat the boss is legit. There's absolutely nothing wrong with using the tools the game gives you. That's why they exist in game, to be used.
It's a personal choice to use them or not. It's your playthrough, play the way you want. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
