Cold Affinity and INT

I infused my Uchigatana with Cold affinity and now INT is C on it, does the dmg increase on it if I level up INT? or just stick with DEX?

each weapon has diffrent stat cap, but yea int also increase damage of cold affinity. so when you hit your cap with dex, it would be more wise spend it on int.

its hard to know if its on game sadly, but some of build planner for elden ring character would show it.

You can mess around with respecs at Renala, that's how I figure out what the caps are.
