pre-load?
guys my internet is bad have they said anything about a pre load? I wanna be able to play it as it releases :steamsad:

preload on steam isn't possible as you can't encrypt dlcs

There has never been, not once, ever, in the history of steam, a fromsoftware game preload.

What's the earliest then it can be downloaded?

And can it be played as early as 12:01 AM on June 21, or a set time on June 21st?

There has never been an open world from game befor elden ring. There has never been a DLC for 40 bucks by from befor.

I THINK it's actually pre-loading now. Or at least there's an update, might just be getting the game ready for the dlc.
Yeah I think it's just getting ready for the dlc, as there's still 8-9 hours until release.

Download is 6, it's patching afterwards.

Keep in mind that this is just a patch, is not the DLC download.
