why would a single player game have cross save?

PS4 is an entirely different OS and everything. Has there ever been a game with a cross save between PS4 and PC. A PS4 save would look like nothing but garbage to Windows.

Destiny is always online and cannot be played offline. Their servers store your save file and their game engine and infrastructure was made with that in mind. Elden Ring is a single player game that can be played offline and wasn't made to be an always online game that is also a live service game. Genshin Impact is also a always online game. You own nothing from those 2 games because when the servers go offline, you can't continue to play. Destiny 2 and Genshin both require Internet connection to play. Elden Ring does not so they store files locally.

I bought a Nintendo Switch + Steam Deck + 3050 laptop + upgraded my PC instead of buying a PS5.
