I have down loaded mods before and thought I deleted them all but I guess not because when I tried launching Elden ring it says unable to play because of suspicious files or something like that and want to know what files i need to delete to play again

As others have said, a full reinstall is the safest way to get a clean game. You should also make sure not to use modded save files. Either delete them, or revert to a save file you may have backed up before installing mods.
Finally, note that the "prohibited files" message will still stay up for a while after fully cleaning your installation. I believe they put a random delay on it to discourage people doing trial-and-error to find a way to get around the anti-cheat. Bans can be as long as 180 days, but are often shorter. I very recently ran into this issue after failing to properly uninstall mods, but I was able to get back online about a week after a full reinstall.
