Best arcane weapon?

Trying to make a strong arcane build for the DLC (discovery stat addict...) but outside of RoB and poleblade, I do not really know what is considered to be a good arcane weapon.

Any recommendations?

If you're using a smaller weapon like Reduvia, or you want something for bosses immune to status, Ripple Crescent halberd is a fun secondary weapon. It has long reach and a versatile moveset. Halberds are great on horseback too, they do good stance damage and pair well with a shield. And it's one of the few arcane scaling weapons that can be buffed, and things like blood/sleep/poision grease will scale with your arcane stat. There are other weapons that are better for arcane though, so I wouldn't use it as your main unless you just really like halberds.

great ash of war, allows attack from range and end attack as a retreat ...
closest move set to a dog as a player ... attack has a lunge and retreat built in
PvE godly :)
PvP is easily timed :(

Nihil stick, venomous fang on arc/bleed/poison, dual scavengers(or any curved sword) on arcane (or bleed if no inate bleed) as a jump attack build, greatstars, and star fist. Build any of these properly and they're great arc weps. Might not count but I also like using antspur on bleed for some rot ontop of bleed. Yes I know arc doesn't scale rot.

It doesn't have natural arcane scaling, but the Beastman's Cleaver is really surprisingly good with Poison or Blood. Grab two, and stun-lock the crap out of enemies.
