Just for the heck of it, while I'm waiting for the DLC to release I'm trying for a 100% run, including random drops. (I finally have the entire Duelist set, but still no frickin' Battle Hammer... grrr...)
So NG+1, to get the mutually exclusive talismans, and I'll probably end up with RL ~250.

I think you should be fine at 135, you'll also be matching with players a couple of levels higher than yours. Seems like some people will be starting fresh for the DLC as well, meaning lower levels too. With level 170 I'm often matched with people already on NG+ runs, anything beyond level 160 is probably not the best comparison if you're not doing NG+ as well.

i dont see the point, like to enter dlc u need to kill mohg and raddan, you need maxed flasks, crimson tears, all spirit ashes, all smith stones bell bearing (and the last ones are on godskin duo). by that point you are lvl 135+ with this 'new' character

Yes, which is still significantly lower than most levels reported here. With level 135 you should be able to match with people close to level 150 if memory serves. Seems like regular numbers to me for fresh playthroughs.

Probably with my lvl 150 char, since I'm pretty sure Miyazaki mentioned in an interview that he expects people to enter it with lvl 120 to 150 chars.
