Anyone have a fix for this softlock?

Has anyone heard of a softlock on the frenzied flame ending? Im naked sitting in front of the forge of the giants burnt by the 3 fingers and i dont have the option to burn myself. Cant burn lyndell cant burn myself a literal softlock. I posted a screenshot to my profile if anyone cares to see the state of the menu at the forge sight of grace... ive spent literally weeks trying to figure this stupid problem out and but all my research leads me to believe this is a literal 1 of 1 issue.

Ok....good action of the day.

Since this whole situation sucks and im afraid you are going to end starting over. I can cover a new character in runes and whatever items you want.....enough to empower you to roflstomp everything in a few hours.

Good luck if you decide to try the glitch.

Appreciate the offer but ill be fine; my early game pathing is pretty on point should only take 5-10 hours to speed through a full run if im running it as a throwaway character. even if it does come to that at least this character is a 100+ hour designed pvp monster lol

naw wouldnt bother them with something silly like this since i dont even know how i caused the lock in the first place and its a simple enough thing to just start another run. Its not like the file is totally worthless anyway its my best pvp designed tarnished to date lol

It is completely worth contacting their customer support over. It's a game breaking technical issue. Someone there will probably find figuring out wtf broke your save to be a fun challenge. It's also their job lol

I think what you're looking for is an option at the site of grace to "listen to the sounds of flame". I just did a quick search and I can't find anyone else having a similar issue, so I would think the most likely answer is that there isn't actually anything wrong and you've just overlooked something obvious. I seem to vaguely remember getting slightly hung up here on my Frenzied Flame run because the option to advance just wasn't super obvious.

If the option isn't there, then is there perhaps a really obvious step you might have skipped anywhere on your path through the game? There shouldn't be, and you said you've used no glitches. I'm just trying to think of what could have caused something like this to happen. It's possible that it's just a really obscure glitch.

Did you already check to see if there's a site of grace in Farum Azula you can warp to?

Yeah found a thread from a couple years ago saying something along the lines of "dragon lord placidusax site of grace just showed up" and people saying this is a for sure bug. Not sure how its all going to play out but fun to have stacking issues like this

Ok doing a bit more looking around the map i warped to the round table and Gideon gave his "you burnt the tree eh?" speech confirming the world is now definitely in a post burned tree state... not sure how but here we are lol

Like I said, the upper part of the tree looks burnt on a screenshot you provided.

So did you rest at the bonfire on top of the Giant forge and select the "look at the fire" option which replaced your Malenia, or whatever her name is, when you go the FF route?

Then you get a different cutscene of yourself burning and you proceeded to Farum automatically.

Oh well.....try killing Placidusax. I cant remember a outside teleport after you kill him in his arena but thats all you can do (other than start a new game).
