online game keeps crashing
edit: thanks for the help!! i messed around with my NAT and the problem seems to be fixed :D
________
I don't have a problem playing the game itself but recently i can't play online more than 3 mins without losing connexion to elden ring servers.

-my internet connexion is good. and more than enough to play
- PC specs goes above what is recommended to play
-driver and game are updated
-i don't have anything else running while playing
-i reinstalled the game twice and checked the files; nothing is corrupted or missing according to steam

i'm lost, i have no idea why it won't stay online
help?

you may have a strict or moderate NAT that prevents access to the right ports and disconnects you.

unless you mean actual crashing then you might need to post the windows evenveiwer crash logs here.

Try:
Windows key + r
Open: CMD
Type: sfc/scannow
Then wait, it takes a bit.

The result was that corrupt files were found and addressed. I restarted and I've had no problems with multiplayer since.

it says i need admin rights to run commands

So click on your windows icon in the corner.
Just start typing cmd.
One of the auto generated suggestions will be "run as administrator" on the right side

Oh man! I'm sorry to hear that and I'm afraid that's the extent of my help. I hope you can find a fix.

in your game folder there should be an exe called start_protected_game. try going to properties and compatibility, set to run as admin and apply/save. see if that makes a difference.
