You are my favorite person in this thread now, even if this isn't true.
Says right there, clear as day, that players aren't allowed to alter the game, and doing so many result in a ban.
I dunno if the person who makes that mod is hosting their own servers or whatever, but I certainly wouldn't use that on my main account; as tempting as open world without having to resummon is.
All games have it, Even games that the devs support being modded. Bethesda releases mod kits for fallout games yet that same line is in their TOS as well.
The mod is peer2peer. There's a document that you edit with a password and then the person you're playing with has to put that password in their document as well in order to connect. You use a special launcher to disable EAC and play that way.
You don't play with the same save as the main game. Seamless has it's own separate saves. The summoning tool is a modified item meaning EAC would detect it and ban over it. The author very clearly warns on the mod page about this.
There's absolutely no harm in playing the mod. It's not connected to the main game. Grab some friends and try it out.
I got radagon soreseal and the medallion half on my first playtrough and I didn't know what it is even for.
Militia is VERY easy to sneak by and is VERY easy to backstab. It was my first rune farm.
Dragon you can just ride past. Just ride forward. If you're scared there is an unguarded bridge to the down left as well.
You keep thinking the "new player" is somebody who lacks cognitive function and curiosity, someone who NEEDS rails to find stuff. That is simply not true.
Meh, I don't really mind getting invaded that badly, and I don't really hate the fog walls. I have a way more ce la vie approach to the game. I already know I'm going to sink hundreds of hours in so I just kinda care less. Just lost 800k runes to that discount Guts and didn't even notice till after I killed him, lol.
Yall make me ashamed to be a Souls fan.
The mod is a great way to experience the whole game with your friend. I think the base game kind of sucks, But as a co-op dungeon looter the game is actually pretty fun.
Also, You can coop with your friends while modding your game. Mod in weapons, armor, bosses etc. Make the game harder.
Dracos the only one who says the mod is for avoiding invasions and that's just because he likes to make videos of him seal clubbing newbies during invasions.
It says "Players shall use the Services in accordance with the TOS", not "Players shall use the Software in accordance with the TO", meaning that you can do whatever you want while using the software but not the service
He also claimed that From was going to burn the mod via a DMCA claim.
Seems those were some poor bets.
