Elden Ring SOTE Edition base game playable right away?

Can someone who has bought the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Edition on steam tell me if the base game was playable right away? I bought this bundle on humble and they make you wait til June to play the base game so I want to know if it's the same on steam.

Elden Ring has been playable for 2 years. Shadow of the Erdtree expansion does not release until June 20'th.

I am aware. I bought the bundle edition on humble and could not play/redeem the base game until June, they have refunded me since. My question is: will I be able to play the base game if I buy the same bundle in the steam store?

Yes. It even says so on the storepage that only the DLC will be available once it's released.
The base game can be played right off the bat and it makes absolutely ZERO sense that humble bundle is doing it like that lol

Thank you! I didn't see this info on the steam store but maybe because I checked on mobile. I definitely didn't expect Humble to handle it this way, that's why I wanted to be sure when buying it on steam lol.
