Any idea what to do here? I play sword and shield warrior. I have no idea what to do here... nothing works...

Well... i have finished Limegrave, Water area, Scarlet Area, now I am at Golden Land...

I still left this one boss + blue seal in one Cave.

prob one of the easiest bosses in the mid/late game, shield isnt going to help much, you have to learn to dodge his attacks, you getting grabbed because you are hiding behind that shield

Get the Stonebarb Cracked Tear, put it in your physick, and bonk him on the noggin.

Or summon a sunbro. I'd help, but I didn't do any of the underground stuff last run :er_sad:

Sunbro was cool at release of Elden Ring, now everyone got one shoot meta build, which make game boring, i will keep trying :))

The clone one? Jump to the middle of the arena or time it. EZ.

I don't know, but some people want others to help them so they don't have to deal with the thing anymore.

Diving Grab
After a Teleport, Astel positions itself directly above its target and grabs them, shoving them into their massive pincers and often killing them instantly.
Tilt your camera up to see if Astel teleported above, then dodge into and under it as its head moves forward for the grab.

Crushing Bite
Astel's jaws glow and flash purple before biting. If the attack lands, the target will be lifted off the ground in a gravity bubble before being crushed, dealing massive damage.
This attack has an obvious windup and is very short ranged, dodge forward or run away.

he's also susceptible to bleed. as a sword and shield warrior i doubt you're using OP bleed weapons BUT a warrior will use utilities when needed, like throwing daggers. you can build bleed up during the fight and that will cause additional damage when you're not swinging.

i've been testing out some things.
if you have the gargoyle greatsword, or the banished knight greatsword, or zweihander- try putting the royal knights resolve ash of war on it, as heavy. eat your exalted flesh for +attack power and you'll hit big.

2 handed R2 was doing up to 2400 damage in my testing, here's how i buffed:
golden vow (spell) (25 faith requirement) Duration: 80 seconds
electrify armament (spell) (15 faith requirement) Duration: 90 seconds
exalted flesh (attack power food) Duration: 30 seconds
L2 to buff AoW when i'm ready to hit (good for single hit, or disappears after 10 seconds)
did not mix flask for strength and only 30 in my strength stats, so you could probably do more damage.
still had my shield, but when 2 handing, it's on my back.

i think all of that still stays within the realm of a shield and sword warrior.
