Small hint:
Do you have any crystal darts in your inventory?
Throw a bunch of them at one of the watchdogs and see if something interesting happens. :)

Just throw crystal darts at them. Then stand back. They will shortly kill one another. This is not a joke. Works on imps, too, as they're also mechanical. Read crystal dart's description.

and yea in the future, use crystal darts when these guys give you trouble. it makes them go nuts and attack everything
