Glintblade Phalanx Effectiveness?

Returning player here with a question A year or so ago I had a caster/melee hybrid that relied on a specced out Misericorde to punish downstate bosses and the spell Glintblade Phalanx to put them in that down state in the first place. The question is, is Glintblade Phalanx still useful in that regard after a 1+ of game updates? The way it worked before was that 2x barrages of the spell would automatically stagger any boss in the game and allow me to rush in and nail him with the Misericorde for massive crit damage. Maybe not the most efficient build but it was a super fun combo of range and very close combat.
This build was mostly for PvE if that matters.

Edit: Not the spell version of Glintblade Phalanx but rather the Ashes of War version.

I believe it still functions that way, at least that's how i've been using it.

Excellent to hear! The other one I relied on heavily was Adula's Moonblade. It kicked serious ass but I heard that it's since been nerfed. Do you know anything about that one?

Yes the AoW is much better than the spells bc of the immense poise damage.

Yeah, I should have pointed that out that I was talking about the Ash of War on the Misericorde, not just a spell

Oh so that's the reason almost everything gets stance broken in 1 barrage of those 4 bolts and a jump attack... well maybe 2 jump attacks.
