10 Bosses is not that much
No hate, i love that game.
But when I think about the fact that the main game had 160 bosses and the DLC only had 10, i wonder what the scope is.

Yes, many of the 160 bosses were minibosses or recycled, but it still added to the scope.
You also got loot from them.
So simply in terms of scope, 10 bosses doesn't seem like much.

I just miss these little mini dungeons with little bosses that give me the reward at the end instead of just only fight the hardcore bosses.

Or is it just a bait and it is 10 NEW bosses. But 60 recycled with loot etc ?

I’m sure it’s more than 10. I think they were just counting the named bosses, not bosses such as the beefy crucible knights, revenants, pumpkin heads, ect..

That being said, 10 named bosses is still quite a bit, especially considering how most fromsoft DLC bosses are harder than almost every boss in the base game

Imo If anything, it would help ER fair batter as a game if the DLC starts shedding as much recycled content as possible.
Seriously this game has a serious issue of unnecessary over-bloat and recycling, including supposedly "original" enemies, the basilisks and skeletons (Witch themselves literally have the same animations recycled from DS1) come to mind, and don't get me started on the 4 different flavors of dragons that have maybe one or two unique attacks each.

160 boils down to like 13, if you stop counting normal enemies as bosses. And five quintillion erdtree avatars and ulcerated tree spirits.

I let you draw your own conclusions after you are done counting all the "big" names (shardbearers and legends).

What a fantastic hot take. Now tell me Mr.Skyrim fan (i also love Skyrim....) is there any difference between Alduin or any other of the billions of dragons you killed before him?......seriously think a bit before posting the "ReCyClEd CoHnTeNTh LoL"...(please?).

Just read the original interview on Eurogamer yourself. Ppl are so quick to change wordings and come up with faulty interpretations.

https://www.eurogamer.net/elden-ring-shadow-of-the-erdtree-is-fromsoftwares-largest-expansion-ever

It says: "there will be over 10 new boss fights". This probably means it is possible that old bosses will also appear.

As for the "mini dungeons", it says: "field areas, legacy dungeons, and other dungeons of varying scale" plus "large open areas, there of course will be legacy dungeons, but we've also experimented with something a little more in-between these as well".

Anyway, folks - just read the info yourself and don't trust the haters who interpret anything in an "as bad or small as possible" way...

it's 10 remembrance bosses

The DLC for Dark Souls 3 had 6 bosses. I will be extremely satisfied getting 10 new bosses in the DLC if they can match the quality of such bosses as Sister Friede, Demon Prince, Darkeater Midir, and Slave Knight Gael.

I am REALLY reading into
Legacy DungeonS.
With 6 in the base game, asking for more than 1 might be a stretch but here's hoping!

LOOK, THE 13 YEAR OLD GAME HAS RECYCLED CONTENT LOLOLOL.
>Least delusional ER apologist entered the chat.
Get better material man, the only reason I even play Skyrim at all is because of mods, if the game didn't had mod support at all I would have ditched it years ago.

EVERY single open world game has recycled content and as far as open world games go, Elden Ring is one with the most varriety of them all in terms of pretty much everything.

Yeah that is mostly true, but at least we can all agree that it still is a problem.
Not to mention that I stand by what I said, there's a bunch of content that could be cut and condensed that in the end would cause little to no determent to the end product.

I think they meant 10 ''main bosses'' and didn't count small guys like the catacomb bosses or whatever.

10 main bosses is a lot

Again, literally every open world game ever that has even LESS varriety and attention to detail.
That's just the thing with open world games.

Well I wouldn't say ''literally'' every open world game. There are a few indie games that could be considered open world and have 0 boss reskins like V rising for example
