Yuri quest questions

Confusion on my part at a stage (last) in the Yuri questline. I've check fextralife wiki but it doesn't clarify.


When I arrived at Second Church of Marika, Yuri was on the ground, nearly dead. He spoke some words about Eleonara. Got the Nagakiba. We did not invade another world. Instead, after awhile Eleonara invaded me, and Yuri was presumably dead at that point. Defeated her, got her stuff. So nothing broken really.

But... wiki seems to think that we should have invaded Eleonara's world instead, and that after the fight we could talk.

So question is, is this normal? Is there a set of actions I could have taken to prevent a premature death here. I did get a grace point in Leyendell I think (ported to divine bridge by something much earlier). I know it's just a minor change, but I'm scratching my head and worried about other effects on quests by seeing an area too soon (like Radahn festival can start early and lock out another quest until it's over, etc).

Question, what wiki gave you that information? Because it was 100% incorrect.

What you described is the end of *his* questline and also probably a mistranslation somewhere. Everything is normal here - find him again on the main route after Forbidden Grounds

Yeah, whatever wiki you got that from is wrong. Yura dies, then you're invaded by Eleonara a few seconds later. Then later, Yura's corpse reappears possessed by Shabriri.

The only time we invade with yura is that raptor assassin, you sure you didn't misread?

if in doubt always google a YT vid on the questlines plenty of them and they will show you accurately how to do them

Yup, that's the site. Where it says stuff like "if yura or the player dies" even though Yura is already dead, and "and upon speaking to Yura" after the fight. Two paragraphs in the quest line for this point, but I suspect now that the first paragraph is wrong in several ways, such as repeating a second time about Raptor of the Mist ashes.

There is a word missing, it should be: [Required] to find him at second church of marika, to get Nagakiba and help him to defeat Eleonara.

What is described there is not the fight against Eleonara, but the fight against the Ravenmount Assassin, where you indeed invade another world.

EDIT: Also "help him to defeat Eleonara" on the wiki page is wrong or at least very misleading.
