Not too concerned about size, would rather have an excellent curated experience. $40 for something even twice the size of AotA or Ringed City, at that level of quality, is fine to me. I'm looking forward to more endgame content, once you get out of the earlygame the ER protagonist kinda just feels like this unstoppable god whose feet don't touch the ground (mostly due to every field enemy being a conscious decision to get off the horse and engage with it instead of running past, tbf, but the dungeons feel like this a lot of the time too), aside from the endgame bosses. So hopefully the expansion content feels more like the previous games in terms of regular enemy threat level.
This is honestly something I would recommend for people that are unsure about the price tag, because I am going to be honest, 40$ for a DLC is pretty big, it's also supposed to be a pretty big dlc, in the books as an expansion pack, just wait out the uncertainty, and if the price ain't right by the reviews of people who truly went deep into it and completed it, and base your thoughts on that, watch some videos if you wanna go that extra mile, personally, I will be buying it as FromSoftware has never once disappointed me, so I choose to believe the extra mile for a good hope
Also you just have to love the unsolicited advice from randoms on the internet on what to do with your money.
There is no proof the DLC Is actually 60GB, the base game is 48GB. So it might only be 10GB update, which isn't that big tbh.
