Mia Jockey also said his favorite keepsake was the pendant. It's well documented that he always chose the black firebombs.

Edit: Limgrave is bigger than Montana.

I agree - maybe politically in the lore, it's a part of Stormveil or something, but is a very distinct island
no, limgrave is made of east and west limgrave and includes stormveil castle. The weeping peninsula is only connected to limgrave via a bridge, its a different land mass and clear division

as for if the devs consider it part of it when talking about the DLC's map, they probably do because without it, the map would be laughably tiny otherwise.... still small with it honestly.

What would weeping add to it anyway? It's still a small place, not much of an impact tbh i it did.

It'd add 2-8 hours with the right dungeon and roaming boss variety

its funny because its large, but probably also the most barren landmass in the game

Zaki also said blah blah blah without ruining anything we can expect it to be "at least" as big as Limgrave. The trailer showed areas that looked familiar. I wouldn't be surprised if the Shadow Land is a re-skin of the Lands between, stripped of all dungeons and a couple / few new Legacy Dungeons. Maybe even new paths through old dungeons "in a different era."
We'll know in 4 months!
